MIRACLE OF JESUS: AN INTERACTIVE JOURNEY TO THE BETHLEHEM MARKETPLACE

Family Christmas Event – Saturday, December 15, 10 am – 3 pm.

Take an interactive Journey to the Bethlehem Marketplace. Dress up in period costume and have your picture taken at the Manger, sing carols and watch a Nativity play. Then, visit LIVE ANIMALS at the Stable and step back in time with a trip to the Bethlehem Marketplace. Make fun take-home crafts at the Basket Weavers Workshop, Tax Collector’s Office, Lamp Lighter’s Shop, Wiseman Astrological Charts and Bethlehem Inn Gift Shop. Take a break at the Bethlehem Bakery for cookies and hot chocolate. It’s the perfect way to experience Christmas. Everyone is welcome!

SING CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Sunday, December 9th at 3:00 pm

Orchestral Ensemble with Choir (not Hamilton Philharmonic)
Special Guest: Jason Hales
Appetizers and wine to follow concert.
WAITING & WONDERING: EXPERIENCE SPIURITUAL PRACTICES FOR ADVENT.
Taking time out from the business of the season to experience the presence of the Holy Spirit. Each week will focus on an Advent theme.

HOPE, PEACE, JOY and LOVE - and prepare our hearts for the coming Christ.

Guy Mitchell Christmas Luncheon
Friday, December 7th - 12:00 pm - Fellowship Hall
This Christmas luncheon is in honour of Guy Mitchell and is one of our favourite Outreach activities. Some of our guests will include clients and staff from the Choices Organization.

Sunday, December 9th - between services
In support of Marshall Memeorial United Church Outreach programs and charities.

 

Seniors Potluck Christmas Luncheon
Monday, December 10th  1:00-2:30 pm - The Gathering Room
This will be the last Seniors Social meeting for 2018. It will be followed by a holiday break. Happy New Year.
Seniors Social meetings will continue January 7th - 2:00 pm and will continue weather permitting each Monday.
COMMUNITY CORN FEST & BBQ

Join us for our annual harvest and welcome back festival.
Corn, BBQ, games, music and lots of fun. Always held the first Wednesday after the long weekend in September, this is a community event encouraging Marshall friends, family and the broader community to help us celebrate our welcome back from summer celebration. Ideal for families.
