Courage To Lead - Faith To Follow

Marshall Memorial United Church will be celebrating 65 years as a congregation in 2019 joyously proclaiming the life, love and ministry of Jesus Christ. We are a progressive congregation celebrating the Word of God at our 9 AM Contemporary Service and at our 10:30 am Traditional Worship Service. The first Sunday of every month we celebrate as one congregation and offer band and choir at a 10AM combined service with children's programming and communion offered.Music is a strong foundation for our Christian life. The broad spectrum of musical genres and styles range from rock, folk and funk to classical and jazz. Our chancel and hand bell choirs are directed by Frank Pierce while the Contemporary Band is inspired by singer/songwriter Annette Haas.

Ministry to our Marshall family and the broader community includes weekly worship services, wedding ceremonies, receptions, baptisms, confirmations and funerals. We offer a seasoned ministerial team, a beautiful 350 seat sanctuary and an air conditioned 150 seat banquet hall to help create cherished memories in our life long spiritual walk.

Under the leadership of Heather Franca, our Marshall family is involved in weekly programming for children and youth from ages 1- 16 years during the Contemporary Service.  We have a baby space in the back of our sanctuary for those up to 18 months of age.  Children participate in a song and play instruments in the sanctuary prior to departing for Cross Country, our term for Sunday School.

Marshall Memorial United Church has a strong history of supporting local and international missions. We send teams  to build homes in the Dominican Republic for refugee Haitians. Our most recent global effort has been directed to the village of Watoto in Africa following a visit by the Watoto Children's Choir to Marshall Memorial United Church. Closer to home we support the work of Wesley Urban Ministries and The Living Rock Ministries.

As a member of our church, every woman is automatically a member of the United Church Women. At Marshall, the UCW is active in several fundraisings each year.

A dedicated and caring team of Marshall Memorial United Church members and staff provide spiritual support to those who are shut-in or ill. Our team brightens the day for those to whom they minister.
